Martindale Friction Tester

This machine tests the friction resistance, fuzzing and pilling performance of the outer layer, lining, substrate and similar fabrics of textiles and shoes. Six test pieces can be tested at the same time. During the test, the friction hammer rubs the test piece repeatedly in a variable direction. Under the specified friction times, its wear characteristics can be measured, and there are two different weights for testing. This machine is ideal for determining the abrasion resistance of upper, lining, socking, and similar types of shoe materials, particularly those made of fabric.
