This machine tests the abrasion resistance and pilling performance of the outer layer, lining, substrate, and similar fabrics of textiles and shoes. Six test pieces can be tested simultaneously. During the test, the friction hammer repeatedly rubs the test piece in a variable direction to measure its wear characteristics under a specified number of friction cycles. There are two different weights available for testing.
